New ARES / RACES I.D. Cards to be issued

1) As of Jan 1st 2012 the upgraded requirements for the New ARES/RACES I.D. Cards will be followed to receive the cards.

a) New State Requirements to get an ARES/RACES Badge – The State and County is not issuing any more ARES/RACES badges until proof of completion for the ICS 100, 200, & 700 courses is given to your ARES Unit leaders.

b) The ARES Yellow cards are being taken out of the system and will not be used anymore. Please bring your yellow cards to the next ARES/RACES meeting. We are switching to the new cards which have already started being issued to those who have completed the above listed ICS Courses.

c) If you have not yet completed ICS 100, 200, & 700 please do so as soon as possible and get copies of your certificates to Roxann Holwege AB7HO so she can order your new badge. Please send her an electronic copy of each course as it is completed. To complete the courses please go to the following webpage: http://www.clatsopares.org/icscoursesonline.htm
